2nd UNIT Story, just as boring as all other later ones. This one particularly fetishizes the mighty military power (grenade, missiles, and hydrogen bomb from Russia) in the guise of self defense from alien invasion. Also "Well, of all the bigoted, anti-feminist, cretinous remarks..." we have “Can’t we keep her on sir? She’s much prettier than a computer”. And of course the girl Isobel ended up admitting she's foolish and continued romantic relationship with the sexist remark soldier. Villain scenes also too heavy handed: "You're an evil man...You're sadistic. You're a megalomaniac. You're insane" "The world is weak, vulnerable...It needs a strong man, a single mind. A leader!"
"clever wee chappie" Jamie you're so real for this "Look, Jamie, sandwiches. l'm hungry."
